I’m excited to announce a partnership with Golden Girl Chicago~ I’m spending a lot more time in Chicago these days and who wants to look pasty in the winter, not me!! I met Jenn the other day and absolutely loved her energy, the way she spoke about her brand, and her entrepreneurship. I can’t wait to brainstorm on how we can continue working together in this beautiful city.

Happened yet again

I was a little freaked out as I checked into my hotel room in New Jersey…and low and behold, I get ANOTHER room that’s not made up. 2 nights in a row!!! What the hell.

If this happens in NYC tomorrow night I’m probably going to have a panic attack.

Travel

So I’m out on the road with Radney Foster this weekend…tonight is in Buffalo, NY. I love being out here as my dad grew up in this town. I have distant relatives that still live here and it’s awesome to see the city. 

 

One of the most fun things about being on tour are the stories. I have so many and I need to get better about writing them down. Anyway, just got checked into the Hotel…get up to the room to find that the chain door lock is secured. i am surprised to find someone in the room I was assigned to…I sneak a peek into the room to know what I’m dealing with and it’s someone under the covers on the bed. Ha! I think I woke someone up. Anyway, i head back down to the lobby and they tell me that they are going to send security as that room is not supposed to be occupied soo now I’m in a different room waiting to watch what happens next lol.

I’ve been obsessed with butterflies since I can remember. I love all the beautiful combinations of shapes and colors. I have many hanging in my condo and wanted to do a few art pieces of my own!

Milwaukee Summerfest, THIS SUMMER!

On the stage with Radney Foster, Jack Ingram, Drew Womack, Bruce & Kelly

I shared the stage with some amazing talent last weekend.  Radney Foster organized a charity event where he had many of his friends come down to San Antonio to help raise money. I had the honor of singing background vocals and playing violin for each of these artists.  Each artist has a distinct flair to their music, they are all hit songwriters (Sara Evans, Dixie Chicks, Keith Urban…just to name a few), and their kindness was hard to beat.  Check out some of  the photos from the evening!

Also, I recently launched my Kickstarter campaign to help raise money for my new album!! How exciting, right?? I’m about 60% of the way there with only 9 days to go.
