Victory for Women

Hey Everyone~

So if you’ve been following my twitter, you know I’ve been working hard these last few weeks! So many things to update you on…A few weeks ago, I started working with Tom Jordan (creative at Hoffman York) on a project, Victory for Women. Tom contacted me telling me about this new project creating awareness for Von Willebrand Disease.  I am 100% for women and the more I started learning about how common this disease is, I was on board. I started working on the song and had it recorded within a couple weeks.  After this was finished, I went into production for a music video to compliment the song!   I am thrilled to be a part of this project and I hope I can post the video on youtube soon!! Tom presented today in New York and I heard it went great~

This past weekend, I had some exciting shows…on Friday, I played Joes Bar in Chicago. I have been wanting to play this venue for a while and it was very rewarding and a successful show~ I have been asked back soo if you missed it, stay in touch on my Tour page and look for an upcoming show in 2011.  I will post it soon when I finalize the date.

After my show at Joes, I was able to hang with my friends and family and I was happy to meet new friends!!  Photos are posted on my facebook page if you’d like to see some~

This past Saturday I traveled to Cincinnati for the Taste of Clermont, organized by Greg Althammer. Check out his tunes if you get a moment.  I was honored to share the stage with some very successful writers; Wynn Varble, Kerry Kurt Phillips and Jason Matthews. I was in great company =)  If you’re not familiar with the hits they have written, just google their name and you’ll see a bunch!!!

Alright, Im off to read my book!!  Hope you’re all doing great…if you’re not on my mailer, remember to sign up =)
